Learn Movement Qualities In a Renowned Dance School

Elevate Dance Academie is an award-winning boutique dance school that instills nurturing vibrancy of highly versatile dance genres in young children through positive & encouraging environment.

In our school, we celebrate the joy in dancing regardless of the genre. With our instructors having over 10 years of experience in the dancing scene, we believe with proper guidance in each lessons, students of any age will gradually become skilled & confident performers. 

  Classical Ballet

Learn how to exude graceful movements combined with strict & meticulous techniques such as pointe work & high extensions. Through Classical Ballet, you get to improve on your body posture & coordination, as well as agility while developing discipline and resilience. This genre also provides the basic foundations for many other genres. 

  Modern Theatre

Modern Theatre integrates various free-form techniques that aren't as strict as Classical Ballet. The movements stems from the core of the body, whereby each and every powerful movement requires incredible flexibility & strength. Some techniques included are the Graham, Humphrey-Weidman, and Horton techniques.

  Jazz

Learn to balance uniformity and personality. By incorporating high-energy music with lively facial expressions and articulate movements, Jazz dance is truly a performative style that is sure to make the room full of life. Jazz uses waves, fancy footwork, big leaps and quick turns coupled with great versatility. There are various Jazz styles, namely classical jazz, commercial jazz, theatre/ broadway jazz or jazz funk.

  Contemporary

Contemporary is a style of expressive dance and adopts free movement, by combining elements of classical ballet and modern dance in an abstract, break-free, non-strict techniques and interpretative presentation. Portraying emotions is a crucial part in this genre. Contemporary dance offers dancers the opportunity to be physically and emotionally challenged as new work often requires practice and encourages experimentation.

  Hip Hop

Hip Hop is a popular and high energy freestyle dance, loved by youngster alike. Dancers generally dance to various music like the hottest R&B, Pop and Hip Hop while incorporating hip hop dance techniques such as isolations, waves, body rolls and high-impact moves, coupled with locking, popping and breaking.

Each student is capable of learning, no matter what dance genre they're taking. With Elevate Dance Academie, we divide our dancers into small groups of 8-12 to boost sufficient individual attention.

Having one of the largest studios in Singapore, we are professionally equipped with audio system, piano, mirrors and barre complete with specially designed sprung floor and imported Harlequin vinyl dance mat.
